Frequent urination, an urgency to urinate, incontinence and frequent night time urination are symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB). These symptoms are particularly common among the elderly. In some scenario, old-aged people may fall down when rushing to urinate, leading to severe injuries.
While some may believe OAB is unavoidable for the old-aged, symptoms of OAB can relieved through different treatments such as medication and physiotherapy.
Please check out our OAB booklet for more information on OAB and urinary dysfunction.
